How it works

Learn about the algorithm that helps determine your globe's production date

1

Start the quiz

Click the "PLAY" button and begin the quiz. The system randomly selects the first question from a database of 188 geopolitical facts covering the years 1800-2026.

2

Answer the questions

The system asks questions about geopolitical changes visible on your globe. You can answer in three ways:

YES - when the fact appears on the map/globe
NO - when the fact does not appear on the map/globe
Not sure - when you're uncertain or can't see that part of the map
3

Track the narrowing range

Each answer narrows the predicted date range. On the visualization you see: green bar (possible range), red bars (excluded ranges), and progression statistics.

4

Get your result

When the range is narrowed to less than 2 years or there are no more meaningful questions, you receive the final result. You can then restart the quiz or undo recent answers with the "Undo" function.

Intelligent question selection algorithm

The system uses an advanced algorithm that:

  • Asks only questions whose start OR end date falls within the current predicted range
  • Prioritizes questions from different regions and categories for a balanced picture
  • Avoids questions about facts that completely span the range (e.g., Saudi Arabia 1932-2026 when range is 1975-1979)
